Eigenlijk is het helemaal geen vreemde vraag: We willen graag een video afspelen in de header van onze website. Kan dat?
Natuurlijk kan dat. We zien het wel vaker wanneer we over het internet surfen. Toen we echter zochten in de Joomla! extension database konden we geen enkele module vinden die deze functionaliteit te bieden had zonder allerlei andere ballast toe te voegen.
Of het was niet mogelijk om verschillende formaten video aan te bieden om er voor te zorgen dat alle browsers ondersteund worden. Uiteindelijk hebben we dus maar weer zelf een module ontwikkeld en deze delen we graag met de community. Laat ons maar eens zien wat jullie er mee gemaakt hebben.

- Wijzigingen Replaced deprecated and calls with native PHP (, , ) so the installer is Joomla 5/6 compatible and JED-Checker clean.

- Wijzigingen Overlay rendering now ships its own scoped position/size CSS inline (per module instance), so overlays show up reliably even when the external stylesheet is overridden by the template. The Bootstrap class was dropped to avoid gutter side-effects.
- Wijzigingen now emits a scoped rule for the unique module ID instead of relying solely on the external CSS class, so multiple Video Header modules on one page no longer interfere with each other's mobile sizing.
